DEBRA A. CAFARO, Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer
DEBRA A. CAFARO joined the Company as Chief Executive Officer and President in 1999 and was appointed Chairman of the Board in 2003. From 1997 to 1998, she served as President and a director of Ambassador Apartments, Inc. (NYSE: AAH), a multifamily REIT. Ms. Cafaro is a director of Weyerhaeuser Company (NYSE: WY), one of the world’s largest integrated forest products companies, the Chair of the National Association of Real Estate Investment Trusts (“NAREIT”) and a member of the Real Estate Roundtable. She recently completed a three-year term as Chair of the Visiting Committee of the University of Chicago Law School. Ms. Cafaro is admitted to the Bar in Illinois and Pennsylvania. RAYMOND J. LEWIS, Executive Vice President and Chief Investment Officer
RAYMOND J. LEWIS was named Senior Vice President and Chief Investment Officer of the Company in October 2002 and was promoted to Executive Vice President in January 2006. Previously, he was managing director of business development for GE Capital Healthcare Financial Services, a division of General Electric Capital Corporation (“GECC”), which is a subsidiary of General Electric Corporation, where he led a team focused on mergers and portfolio acquisitions of healthcare assets. Prior to that, Mr. Lewis was Executive Vice President of healthcare finance for Heller Financial, Inc. (acquired by GECC in 2001), where he had primary responsibility for healthcare lending. Mr. Lewis has served as a director of the Assisted Living Federation of America and as Chairman and a director of the National Investment Center for the Seniors Housing & Care Industry (“NIC”). He is currently a member of the Executive Board of the American Seniors Housing Association. (DOB: September 20, 1964)

TODD W. LILLIBRIDGE, Executive Vice President, Medical Office Properties; President and Chief Executive Officer, Lillibridge Healthcare Services
TODD W. LILLIBRIDGE joined the Company as Executive Vice President, Medical Office Properties in July 2010 with the closing of Ventas’s acquisition of Lillibridge Healthcare Services, Inc., now a wholly owned subsidiary of Ventas. Todd is President and Chief Executive Officer of Lillibridge Healthcare Services, where he is responsible for the strategic focus, vision and overall leadership of the subsidiary. Prior to joining its predecessor in 1982, and subsequently establishing Lillibridge & Company, Mr. Lillibridge was employed by Baird & Warner, Inc., of Chicago, Illinois, in the real estate finance group as well as in the development division. Mr. Lillibridge received a B.S. degree, with honors, in Marketing and Finance from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He is currently a member of the Economic Club of Chicago (Membership Committee), the World Presidents' Organization (Vice Chairman) and sits on the Board of Directors of the Joffrey Ballet (Chairman of the Facilities Committee). T. RICHARD RINEY, Executive Vice President, Chief Administrative Officer, General Counsel and Secretary
T. RICHARD RINEY has served as Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of the Company since May 1998 and was also designated our Chief Administrative Officer in February 2007. Previously, he served as Transactions Counsel of Vencor, Inc. (Ventas’s predecessor). Prior to that, Mr. Riney was a partner of Hirn, Reed & Harper, a law firm based in Louisville, Kentucky, where his areas of concentration were real estate and corporate finance. RICHARD A. SCHWEINHART, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer
RICHARD A. SCHWEINHART was named Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of the Company in December 2002, after serving as a full time consultant to Ventas from May to November 2002, and was promoted to Executive Vice President in January 2006. Previously, he was Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Kindred Healthcare, Inc. (“Kindred”), where he was responsible for all financial aspects of the company, including accounting, finance, purchasing, insurance, tax, reimbursement and internal control. Prior to that, Mr. Schweinhart was a Senior Vice President of Finance for HCA, Chief Financial Officer at Galen Health Care, Inc. (a spin off of Humana Inc. (“Humana”)) prior to its acquisition by HCA and a Senior Vice President of Finance at Humana. He is a Certified Public Accountant. (DOB: September 19, 1949)

ROBERT J. BREHL, Chief Accounting Officer and Controller
ROBERT J. BREHL joined the Company as Chief Accounting Officer and Controller in January 2006. From 1998 to 2005, Mr. Brehl was Senior Vice President and Controller of privately-held Atria Senior Living Group, Inc., one of the nation’s largest owners and operators of assisted living communities. At Atria Senior Living he had oversight for all accounting and tax functions, treasury operations and cash management. Prior to that, he was with Ernst & Young LLP in Louisville, Kentucky from 1985 until 1998 where his last position was as senior manager and his responsibilities included work with various publicly-held multinational corporations. Mr. Brehl is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and a member of the Kentucky Society of Certified Public Accountants. (DOB: February 23, 1962)

TIMOTHY A. DOMAN, Senior Vice President, Asset Management
TIMOTHY A. DOMAN joined the Company as Vice President, Asset Management in August 2002. In February 2007 he was promoted to Senior Vice President. Before joining Ventas, Mr. Doman was a senior asset manager for GE Capital Real Estate where he had responsibility for a real estate equity and loan portfolio. His responsibilities included approval and implementation of property business plans, development of investment and exit strategies and development and approval of major capital improvement programs. He was previously a Vice President of Asset Management at Kemper Corporation. He received a B.B.A. in Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin and an M.B.A. in Finance from Indiana University. (DOB: July 12, 1965)

JULIE M. DREIXLER, Senior Vice President, Human Resources
JULIE M. DREIXLER joined the Company as Senior Vice President, Human Resources in January 2008. Before joining Ventas, Ms. Dreixler was a Vice President, Human Resources for Cardinal Health where she served as a business partner within the Healthcare Supply Chain Services segment. Much of her focus there included leading organizational change and integration activities to support business goals. Prior to that, she was Vice President, Human Resources, for Sara Lee Coffee & Tea, with responsibility for the U.S. Foodservice business. Previous work experience includes various HR positions with Citibank, Aris-Isotoner (a division of Sara Lee), GE Capital (two different business units) and Chicago Title and Trust. She received a B.A. in Public Administration, Political Science and German from Augustana College and an M.S. in Industrial Relations/Human Resources from Loyola University. (DOB: November 20, 1961)

JOSEPH KURZYDYM, Senior Vice President, Medical Office Properties; Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, Lillibridge Healthcare Services
JOSEPH KURZYDYM joined the Company as Senior Vice President, Medical Office Properties in July 2010 with the closing of Ventas’s acquisition of Lillibridge Healthcare Services, Inc., now a wholly owned subsidiary of Ventas. Joe is Chief Financial Officer of Lillibridge Healthcare Services, where he is responsible for the asset and property management, corporate operations and overall financial reporting and related policies, accounting practices, and information services related to the subsidiary. Joe joined Lillibridge Healthcare Services in 1998. He has more than 25 years of a combination of healthcare, real estate and general corporate experience. He is a member of many professional organizations including the National Association of Real Estate Companies (NAREC), the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Indiana CPA Society (ICPAS). He received a B.S. degree in business from Indiana University. (DOB: February 13, 1957)

BRIAN K. WOOD, Senior Vice President, Tax
BRIAN K. WOOD has served as Vice President, Tax of the Company since May 2000. In February 2007 he was promoted to Senior Vice President. Prior to that he was Vice President, Tax for Kindred Healthcare, Inc. (NYSE:KND), from April 1991 to May 2000 where his areas of concentration were taxation and insurance. From January 1985 to April 1991, Mr. Wood was a tax manager with Ernst & Young, an international accounting firm. Mr. Wood is a member of NAREIT, Tax Executives Institute, and American Society of Certified Public Accountants. (DOB: April 12, 1962)

JAMES L. ANDREWS, Vice President, Hospital Business Development
JAMES L. ANDREWS joined the Company as Vice President, Hospital Business Development in October 2009. Before joining Ventas, Mr. Andrews was a Managing Director in the Healthcare and Housing Group of Financial Security Assurance (FSA). Prior to that, he worked as a healthcare investment banker for Goldman, Sachs & Co., American Health Capital, Inc., Paine Webber/Blyth, Eastman Dillon and Atlanta National Real Estate Trust/Hospital Investors, Inc. He received a B.A. in Economics from the University of North Carolina and an M.B.A. from Georgia State University with a concentration in Finance. (DOB: February 14, 1947)

KRISTEN M. BENSON, Vice President and Senior Securities Counsel
KRISTEN M. BENSON joined the Company as Senior Securities Counsel in July 2004. In February 2007 she was promoted to Vice President. From October 1997 to June 2004, she was an associate in the Chicago office of Sidley Austin LLP, where her areas of concentration were mergers and acquisitions and corporate finance. Ms. Benson received a B.B.A. in Finance from the University of Notre Dame and her J.D. from the University of Virginia. She is a member of the American Bar Association, the Chicago Bar Association and NAREIT. (DOB: April 27, 1973)

VINCENT M. COZZI, Vice President, Acquisitions
VINCENT M. COZZI joined the Company as Vice President, Acquisitions in July 2005. Before joining Ventas he was Vice President-Finance and Treasurer of Trizec Properties, one of the nation's largest owners of premier office buildings, where he held positions in finance, corporate strategy and asset management from 1998 to 2005. Mr. Cozzi has also held positions at Kemper Corporation and at Falcon Real Estate Ltd., where he had responsibilities for the acquisition, disposition, finance and asset management of commercial properties in major markets across the country. He received a B.A. in Economics from the University of Wisconsin and an M.B.A. in Finance and Business Policy from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. (DOB: October 14, 1965)

CHRISTIAN N. CUMMINGS, Vice President, Asset Management
CHRISTIAN N. CUMMINGS joined the Company as a Financial Analyst in June 2002. Mr. Cummings was promoted to Financial Manager in February 2004 and to Vice President in July 2007. He received a B.A. in History and an M.B.A. from the University of Louisville. (DOB: December 14, 1973)

JOSEPH D. LAMBERT, Vice President, Transactions Counsel
Joseph D. Lambert joined the Company in August 2006. From October 2000 to July 2006, he was an associate at Barack Ferrazzano Kirschbaum & Nagelberg LLP, focusing on real estate transactions for a wide variety of private and publicly-traded clients. Mr. Lambert received a B.A. in General Business Administration/Pre-Law from Michigan State University and a J.D. from Harvard Law School. He is admitted to the bar in Illinois and is a member of the Association of Corporate Counsel and NAREIT. (DOB: June 14, 1974)
